Communication IS Leadership





Simply put, we want every single employee in our company to know absolutely everything. We’ll probably never achieve that, but by trying, we’ll come closer than we would have otherwise. Our President and COO, Adam Garrett, is particularly passionate about this principle and created our definition of it: daily execution of practicing consistent, reliable, predictable, effective, thoughtful, compassionate, and yes, even courteous communication.

Communicating this way takes more time, but it has been critical to our “whole-brained” approach: Every employee is part of the company’s cognitive process, and thinking together makes us far more powerful than the sum of our parts. And nothing makes someone feel more a part of a team than knowing everything has been communicated to them. We know that some information we share could fall into competitors’ hands – but the advantages far outweigh the risks.
